- 2 cups fresh grated coconut
- 5 cups sugar
- 2 tsp ghee
- ¼ tsp cardamom powder
- ½ cup finely chopped cashew nuts
Grease a square pan well with some ghee and set aside. Heat 1 tsp of ghee in a pan. Toast the cashews and set aside. In this pan add coconut and sugar, mix together and cook on a medium flame till mixture melts together and separates from the sides of the pan. Pour immediately into greased square pan and level. Sprinkle with toasted cashews, and divide into squares while still warm. Cool it and store in airtight containers. Et Voila! Enjoy!
