Follow this easy recipe to make your own homemade dried cherry snack. They can be stored for months and are the perfect sweet and energizing snack-on-the-go!
You Will Need:
- 2 packs of cherries (400 gms) washed, pitted and cut in halves
Place the dry cherries, cut side up on baking sheets. Make sure they are not touching.
Preheat oven to 165 F degrees, and roast for 3 hours till the tops look leathery and wrinkled. Then reduce heat to 135 F and roast for 16 hours. You can tell the cherries are done when they start to look similar to raisins. Voila! Your dried cherries are ready. Store them in an airtight container.
