Dessert: Doodhi Ka Halwa
You will need:
- 200 gm Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 5 tbsp Ghee
- 150 ml Milk
- 5 Cashew nuts, chopped
- 10 Raisins (kishmish)
- 5 Almonds, chopped
- 4 cups Doodhi(Sweet Gourd), finely grated
- 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
Heat the ghee in a karhai, add the cashew nuts, raisins and almonds and fry till golden brown. Add the grated doodhi and saute for a few minutes.
Add the milk and cook till the doodhi is soft.
Add the condensed milk and stir continuously till the mixture is thick. Sprinkle with cardamom powder and mix well. Your delectable dessert is ready- the perfect, sweet finish to a wonderful meal. Serve it up hot!
